| Description | The NIH Undergraduate Scholarship Program offers scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are committed to careers in biomedical, behavioral and social science health-related research. The program seeks to promote careers in research, especially careers in biomedical research at NIH by supporting up to four years of undergraduate study. This exceptional and well-managed program also offers summer internships, with all expenses covered. Scholars must work at NIH for the same period they received a scholarship, but that service can take place at any time. |
