Financing The Churchill Scholarship covers all University and College tuition and fees. In addition, students receive a living allowance of £6,500 if enrolled in a nine-month academic program and £7,500 if enrolled in a full-year academic program. They also receive a travel allowance of $500. Depending on the field of study and recent rates of exchange, the value of a Churchill Scholarship is approximately $31,000 to $36,000.

Description Churchill Scholarships offer American students of exceptional ability the opportunity to pursue graduate studies leading to a Master of Philosophy or Certificate in engineering, mathematics and the sciences at Cambridge. Scholars have the opportunity to experience life in Britain, to forge friendships with British students and those from many other lands, to see the United States from a new perspective, and to gain personal insights about oneself that come from living abroad and adjusting to new challenges.
How to Apply 1. Optional – Meet with Dr. Sindt by October 1, 2008
2. Turn in all application materials to Advising by October 24, 2008
3. Advising sends nominations to Churchill by November 12, 2008
Special Tips Take GRE general and subject tests early. This scholarship requires an outstanding academic record.
