Financing A Beinecke Scholar receives a total of $32,000 in support of his or her graduate education. An initial payment of $2,000 is awarded prior to entering graduate school. While in graduate school, an additional $30,000 will be awarded in support. These funds may be spread over up to five years of graduate study.

Description The Beinecke supports highly motivated students who wish to attend graduate school in the arts, humanities or social sciences. Since 1975, the program has selected more than 335 college juniors from 94 different schools for support during graduate study at any accredited university. Beinecke Scholars are encouraged to begin graduate study as soon as possible following graduation from college, and must use all of the funding within five years of completion of undergraduate studies.
How to Apply 1. Optional — Meet with Dean Bader by December 17
2. Turn in all applicatioin materials to Advising by February 15
3. Advising sends nomination to Beinecke by March 1

They can help you tailor your resume for this purpose and to magnify your most appropriate accomplishments, such as academics, activities and meaningful internships--not your job at Tower Records.
