Academic Resources

The Office of Academic Advising provides resources for Arts and Sciences and Engineering students who need academic assistance. Academic success at Hopkins requires effective study skills, good time management, and strong organizational techniques. Students enter college with varying levels of these skills, and we offer many supporting programs to help develop these skills further.

Tutoring

Tutoring services are available on the Homewood campus for all Hopkins students. There is no fee to take advantage of this service. Tutoring is not a substitute for class participation or course work, but is available for those students who want to work on course-specific material.

Study Consulting

The Study Consultant Program is designed for undergraduate students at JHU who desire to strengthen their academic skills, fulfill their potential or are having difficulty adjusting to the increased demands of college. Students who are willing to make the effort it takes to improve are excellent candidates for this program.
