Majors and Minors list)
Russian
2nd Major Only, and Minor
The study of Russian involves learning the
language itself, through written, verbal, and audio-visual learning
experiences. Students are then able to focus on the study of Russian
culture and history through the study of various literary texts. Russian
is a particularly interesting field of study because there are so many
prominent and fascinating authors such as Chekov, Pushkin, Tolstoy,
and many others, which gain meaning and interest when read in their
original languages.

to accommodate both non-native speakers and heritage learners. With
its dedicated faculty, small classes, a flexible curriculum designed
to accommodate both beginning and advanced students, wide-ranging cultural
activities, and study-abroad opportunities; the Russian Program is
strategically poised to enable learners of Russian to prepare themselves
