Russian
2nd Major Only, and Minor

The study of Russian involves learning the language itself, through written, verbal, and audio-visual learning experiences. Students are then able to focus on the study of Russian culture and history through the study of various literary texts. Russian is a particularly interesting field of study because there are so many prominent and fascinating authors such as Chekov, Pushkin, Tolstoy, and many others, which gain meaning and interest when read in their original languages.
